This unit gives an overview of teachers and learners. It describes what makes a good teacher or learner, and some aspects of the relationship between them. I found the qualitative structure of the descriptions very helpful. For instance: the explicit list of roles for a teacher, the qualities of learners which may affect their success (age, motivation, nervousness, etc), and the distinctions between language levels.
