The major part of this unit is the understanding that pronunciation shouldn't be avoided. Even though, it is something that alot of us struggle with its important that we teach it within our classes. Its easy for native speakers to take for granted the fact that we have learned pronunciation naturally in our daily lives. Its important for us to take the time to learn the alphabet which was mentioned within this unit. It is also part of our job to make sure that we are taking the time to incorporate the techniques which were laid out within this unit. I have to say that this is not a unit that I have a natural talent for but I hope to use the techniques taught here within my own lessons.
