In this unit i have learned about the different types of conditionals and their usage, 5 conditionals and some similar in nature, making it difficult and confusing for the students to label each type. Thus the key when teaching this is to move slowly and with clarity.
I have also learned about reported speech, that is when you are relaying a conversation, and the differences in structure of a sentence by the nature of the tense used reflects upon the time aspect of when it is being relayed.
In addition to this ive learned a few teaching ideas i can incorporate in order to facilitate teaching of both reported speech and the types of conditional.
