This unit describes the receptive skills, reading and listening, when listening or reading a text. This lesson covers how to go over these skills appropriately for students in order to promote and encourage their skills. It is important that the teacher chooses material that interests the students and does not assume that whatever is in their interest, should apply to theirs as well. The teacher must also be aware by building interest before reading or listening to the text One highlight that I've learned was to teach any difficult vocabulary before going through the text, but to not overdo it.
