i have been up until now nervous to teach the written aspect of language. It does seem very simple to give writing assignments as homework, but the notes from this section pointed out that homework is not always completed and therefore this part of language is then often missing. It is something that I hope to regularly incorporate into my future classroom because it is an important aspect of English. Growing up in America I have come to notice that American schools strongly emphasize the importance of writing structure. However, many of my friends originating from South Korea are relatively weak at writing papers even in their own language because their school system did not value that skill. Despite that, this section pointed out that being able to write well makes a person seem more distinguished.
