Unit 1 talked about different aspects of being a teacher and a learner in an English class. Also, the unit discussed different language levels of students as well as a two-way relationship between teacher and student and how to make the classroom's interaction/activities more efficient. One important lesson that I learned from this unit is that to maintain the classroom dynamic, both the teacher and students should be motivated and worked together towards a goal of achieve higher language understanding. Also, the role of a teacher can be especially important in classes where students lack willingness to communicate because the teacher should be the one to spread positive energy and motivation to the students in this case.
