In this unit i learnt that past tenses refer to the past events.The forms of past tenses are past simple,past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous.More i learnt that past tenses are not very different from the present tenses in terms of their structure ans system as observed by their certain similarities in their usage and form though only the past tenses relate to the past time periods .
