Unit 18 was about modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. The modal verbs are used to communicate obligation, possibility/probability, permission/prohibition, ability, and advice. Using the passive voice is also important to express the focus in a sentence. In passive, the object of a passive verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. There are also three types of phrasal verbs: intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable.
