Unit Ten presented two videos showing a teacher giving the same lesson in different ways. In the first lesson, he did not introduce himself or establish rapport with the students by asking their names like he does in the second lesson. In the first lesson, he just dives into questioning the students using words that are too hard like "necessary" and "required" and "appropriate." When the students couldn't answer, he stammered and made rude remarks about how they were wrong or couldn't get his meaning. In the second video, he showed what the lesson was about with a short engage activity that got the students prepared and understanding what he wanted. At the end of the first lesson, he was downright rude to the students who couldn't understand his poorly explained "game" and he called people losers. At the end of the second lesson, he was pleasant and the students were very pleased with the good lesson they experienced.
