Managing your class can be both, very dynamic or difficult depending on several factors and circumstances: size, age, motivation of the students, etc. For me, the most important thing to keep in mind from the teacher side is the absolute respect and care to your students. They see you not as just a teacher, but as a model in many senses, including adult students. To have their respect, will increase drastically their good behavior, attention and motivation; and therefore, their learning. Learn their names, get to know them personally, listen to them, don´t ever loose your temper, talk to them clearly and nicely, make eye contact while talking to them are some of the basic things we should never forget.
