This unit was a quick examination of lesson materials, course books, and their advantages and disadvantages. There was a discussion about authentic sources like brochures, magazines, and other media. Following that some created materials such as language usage cards and activity cards were illustrated. Finally the option of teacher prepared materials was presented, suggesting drawings, models, surveys, and other homemade materials and visual aids. Most importantly, stress was placed on not having too rigid a plan or being lazy and relying only on course books.
