The two videos showed how the teacher's attitude can greatly affect the participation of students and the success of lesson. It also showed how gestures are very useful in defining a word or even a new vocabulary item. Smiling might be a very small gesture but it has a great impact on students, it creates positive vibes making the students behave comfortably. Recognizing the names also helps a lot. Lesson 2 is more effective than lesson 1, because the teacher used effective ESA lesson and uses a loud and clear voice. He is aware of the student's english level so he made it sure that they can understand him and his instructions. He also used materials which made it more effective and ends the lesson in a nice manner.
