I learned many very practical ways to deal with problems that arise when teaching English. Like appointing group leaders to manage classroom activities. Having them pass out worksheets or collect work. and that more problems can arise in large classes. But large classrooms can have a greater variety of ideas. and it does sound true that if I show them I know their language, which I do, they will try to use it more and more instead of English.
