This unit introduces eight parts of speech. They are commonly called the ‘building blocks’ of the English language because of their importance. Each word in a sentence has its own role. Greater understanding of the parts of speech helps to improve the usage of English, both in writing and speaking.
From this unit, I’ve learnt about the parts of speech, their definitions and how to find each part of speech in a sentence.
