I have learned that there are multiples ways throughout the year to evaluate my students. Practice tests are good for understanding the test format. Placement and diagnostic tests are good for testing their language level, and progress tests good for seeing how they are getting better or need further help. I found it interesting to learn about the additional external exams that are available to them; TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge assessment, etc.
