The focus of this unit is to get us exploring the past. This unit can be used very well in our lessons especially when it comes to storytelling and getting to know our students better. We can get information about who they are that we can use in other lessons as well as focus on their main structure when telling stories. I love to get students to make there own narratives using a mix of the 4 tenses we learned about in this Unit. I found the advice on some different activities we can perform within the class to teach about the past to be valuable. The only challenge is the initial explanation but if you can teach the formula for the different tenses I find that students can pick it up quickly.
