Great teachers facilitate not dominate the learning environment. By establishing good rapport with her students and creating a well thought out classroom that enables students to be engaged in the learning process. One way she could achieve this is to pay special attention to seating or grouping arrangements. Another way might be to give thought to individual students needs, considering their personality and background. How she engages students in the classroom is largely dependent on her use of voice, gestures and eye contact. At all times remaining in control of the group being respectful and dignifying the student in their role as learner.
