This unit was particularly helpful because it offered various types of created materials from role ply cards to crosswords puzzles. As a teacher I understand that sometimes it might take more time to create your own material however it also enables you to be more flexible and have fun as well. As a teacher with intermediate or advanced level students I have often used in the past authentic materials rather than text books. I have introduced some text book grammar units when I thought it was necessary but I have had the chance to witness first hand how authentic materials seem to interest students more and once they realize they understand the level of English they become more self confident.
