This unit was very good at applying how to use all tenses of a verb properly with correct sentence structure or grammar. It showed not only how 'rules' apply (i.e for or since with the present perfect) but how past participles are irregular and have to be memorized. Especially practical were various strategies used to activate learners designed to stimulate discussion in different tenses (Simple, Continuous/progressive, Perfect, perfect continuous) such as: mime; pictionary; search & find; role playing - job interview. Also typical student error/mistakes to watch out for and thought provoking strategies to activate learning. Especially activities that engage students in discussion involving present perfect and past simple. A good game/activity being search and find.
