This unit taught the two receptive skills used to learn and how to understand them and how to employ them in lessons with students. This unit's material was interesting because reading and listening are so crucial to the learning process and understanding how they work and how to utilize them for students' benefit is so important. The unit also described how a straight arrow ESA lesson would look and the different stages of each part of the lesson.
