In this unit, the different conditionals and reported speech was discussed. Because of the use of multiple tenses in the different conditionals, e.g. mixed conditional "If past perfect, would+base form verb", teachers need to be careful and fully prepared when teaching the material as there are many possible problems that can arise: mixing up the tenses, forgetting the time that the given continual is talking about. Reported speech is also of note, because of the multiple changes needed to change direct speech into reported speech, it requires much practice and handwork to build the habits needed to automatically make all the changes in real time.
