In order to be an effective teacher, it is of utmost importance to communicate clearly so that all the students understand what is being taught and what the teacher is asking them to do. In the first video the teacher was impatient with the students, and he assumed they all understood what he was eliciting from them and the activity he wanted them to participate in. Unfortunately, the students were mostly confused, and because he was so cold, impatient, unclear, and at times discouraging, they seemed intimidated to answer questions and make a mistake. In the second video the teacher was warm, friendly, clear, and patient, and the students engaged very successfully. The teacher did well at encouraging them, keeping the energy positive, and morale high.
