"Teaching Receptive Skills" is comprised of topics "Reading and Listening" and "Making Comparisons." The content of the topics includes 'the reasons for reading and listening,' 'how we read and listen,' problems with reading and listening' and 'topics.' An example of a 'typical receptive skills (patchwork) lesson' is also part of the content. From the 'Topics' heading (page 4) I feel i've learnt that the more I know my students the more suitable my material choices will be.
