In this unit I was provided with two very good examples of a good and a bad lesson. First-hand teaching examples helped me to focus on the ESA method. Now I understand that a clear explanation of the lesson point is vital as giving clear exemples of task performed. Also it is important to speak more slowly and clearly. Knowing students’ names, teachers smile can break ice and involves all of the students in the lesson. The attitude that the teacher comes into class with will have a profound effect on the success of the lesson.
