I understood that the way you present yourself to students really matters in their journey to become fluent in the English language. Generally speaking, the students were much more receptive to the second lesson, as they smiled a lot, and were quick to participate. Introducing himself at the beginning of the lesson helped, as well as learning their names, since he was able to call on each one individually towards the end of the lesson.
