When learning or teaching about tenses we note that there are three main times i. e present, past and future. These times have got three aspects which are as follows :continous, simple,perfect and perfect continous.This helps to make a total of twelve tenses. I have also learnt that with the present perfect tense verbs change to pastperticipal e. g eat-eaten but also there are verbs that just need to be crammed the way they are as you communicate their pastpaticipal e.g read-read.
