In this unit I refreshed my previous knowledge of phonetics that I learned 3 years ago in university. I was never good at it, since I learned English parallel to Spanish. It is very difficult for me to teach pronunciation using phonemes, since I was never taught this way. In my case, I use my mouth to have the students mimic the movement ans sound of words. I have noticed that Spanish speaking students struggle with the difference between Good and Would, it is hard for them to make a difference between G and W.
