I learned quite a bit about the differences between fluency and accuracy. The lesson made clearer to me how accuracy is more important in one stage of a lesson - for example, accuracy in the study phase - versus how fluency becomes more important when students are tasked with more creative usage of their new language. As always, the sample lesson got me thinking of other ways to apply these principles. Additionally, I learned more about the importance of games as a learning tool for all ages and much more important than a mere diversion.
