When considering taking up English lessons, one of the many queries I had was how to structure the lesson. I wondered how to choose the subject, how to present it to the student, how to teach it so that the student would understand. I can find the answers in the Engage - Study - Activate method. It is a clear, precise and logical way to conduct a class. I understand that this method can be modified, for example the boomerang or patchwork method, but the basis remains an effective way to teach English as a foreign language.
The unit has also provided many different techniques in which to involve the student and make the lesson more interesting for him. I think it is also important to learn how and when to correct the student.
