In this unit about receptive skills, I have learnt about the different types of receptive skills such as reading and listening. These two skills are obviously very important for learning and understanding a new language. Students should be able to have some idea of reading and listening in order to learn English effectively. A good way to to engage a class would be to ask them questions first and then show them a text or video where they can read or listen effectively and can find it more easy to understand.
