In this unit, I learned about assessment. I learned that assessment (in all it's various forms) should be used throughout the course to gauge the students progress and understanding. I learned that a diagnostic test or a "placement" test should be given to the students prior to the course to best understand what they need to learn. I also learned about the various international tests that many students will be preparing for.
