I learned the difference between receptive and productive skills. This is a topic that I use daily, but never really stopped and thought about how it impacts me, and how it could influence my teaching career. This lesson was definitely enlightening in that regard. It also taught me how to approach topics that cater to the whole class, and gave me some good ideas on how to engage them from the outset of a lesson.
