I really enjoyed this unit. I loved the contrast between the 2 videos in this unit. The first video was hard to watch, it makes a great example of what NOT to do when teaching English. The teacher wasn't smiling, was very rude and disrespectful to the students who tried to answer the questions. It felt like, to me, that he didn't really care at all. The students responded with the same demeanor because of the teachers attitude in from start to finish. The second video was a great example on how to lead a English class. It was very warm and welcoming from start to finish and you could see the students attitudes quickly mirrored that of the teacher in the second video. Very well done.
