From the videos I learned what not to do in class with students. In my classes I like to do something similar to what the teacher did on the second video. I always learn my students' names and help them feel comfortable in class by doing so. Having a positive attitude will definitely have an impact on the students and on how they perform throughout the lesson. I try no to push students that I know are shy and to have the more hyperactive students control their impulses by pairing them up with the shy students, so they can help each other.
