For this unit I learned about the different testing options that Cambridge has to offer and how evaluations work. At my work place, we use a placement test to evaluate students when they arrive to a course, to place that student in the right level. We give feedback to our students after every class and give at least 2 evaluations per month. I have prepared some students to take the PET exam and the TOEIC, and have found they are quite interesting to teach and extremely useful for the person taking the test. I think schools should always offer their students to take a PET exam, or any Cambridge test for school students, as a way to evaluate how teachers are doing regarding their students progress.
