This unit has taught us what the difference between authentic and created materials are. To put it in a nutshell, the authentic materials are the ones which are output by native speakers, it can be anything , e.g. programs, magazines, interview. The created materials are the ones which the English teacher prepared for the class: cut outs, puzzles, word searches etc. Also, we learned what kind of advantages and disadvantages of the course books are, and what kind of criteria we should take into consideration while choosing an appropriate book for our class.
