I found it interesting the different test types and why the exist. Placement tests is to determine what level a student is placed. Progress tests is to determine if students are learning and retaining the information taught. Diagnostic tests are to determine the level of students at the beginning of a course. External exams are given for school ratings and various other options to qualify and help with living in England or conducting foreign business. Practice tests are given to prepare for External exams and determine areas to study for improvement.
