In this unit we learned about the importance of teaching language reception, the types of reception, and the problems that may arise from this. There appears to be many different ways to exercise a student's receptive skills, from critical thinking and reading, to class discussions, to varying types of reading. And the range of topics that could be used to gain and maintain a student's interest are nearly limitless.
