This unit has introduced modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. Once again it is not common for the native English speaker to analyse their naturally spoken language so precisely! It is a large learning curve for me, as I have never been taught grammar so definitively! There is so much more to learn! I was talking to a Polish lady today, who has now lived in the UK for twelve years. She speaks quite good English, but has only picked it up from friends and her daughter, she has never had a formal lesson! I will most definitely have to go through all this material again, and look forward to the non-online sector of the course!
