In this unit I learnt that testing and evaluation can be very useful to the teacher as well as the students. They give information on the placement and progress of the student. This allows the teacher to make adjustments and planning for future lessons. Practice tests are also very useful as they prepare the students for half year or end of the year exams as well as for external exams for entry into universities and companies worldwide.
