This unit talked about authentic materials including some examples, the advantages and disadvantages.
The examples of the authentic materials are crosswords, flashcards, role play cards, picture stories and wordsearch.
The teachers should use the materials wisely. Sometimes the teacher will omit certain lessons from the coursebook. Or instead of omitting the lessons, teachers could replace with similar and more appropriate materials.The teacher could use the course book in their own way.
The last part is to analyze the coursebook by price,availability, design, methodology, skills, difficulty,syllabus,topic, teacher's guide and ancillary materials.
