One of my favorite parts of this unit is encouraging the use of games. Games can be such a valuable and fun part of learning, I think it is important to encourage learners to be creative and have fun while learning new things. The production phase of learning can be daunting for some students who are more shy or in cultures where speaking up is less encouraged. For those reasons games are so valuable, if you can get learners to engage in an activity that is legitimately fun it provides such a great opportunity for increasing production skills.
