The study of Unit 3 was very interesting. The reviewing of methods and techniques of teaching English as a foreign language in retrospect and in comparison to the strength and weakness of different methods was very informative. But the greatest benefit for myself, I learn from the section describing in details the ESA method, which combines all the strengths of different techniques. Especially valuable for myself I found in this unit a lot of practical tips and explanations. Understanding how the activities relate to each of the various stages of the ESA lesson, specific examples of different activities, and approach to the evaluation and correction of the results of students was particularly helpful.
