This unit focused on the teaching vocabulary to students of other languages. I learned that there are several aspects to teaching vocabulary such as selecting vocabulary, and techniques for teaching vocabulary. This unit gave different examples of Engage, Study, Activate lessons to teaching vocabulary. I personally like the patchwork lesson because it gives you more flexibility to teach different levels of students at one time.
