This unit was very helpful as an introduction to teaching different groups of learners and what their needs may be. Of course, the teachers approach has to be different and adapt to every situation. For example when teaching a class full of children, singing and playing simple games in English would be a great activity, but in an adult class this may not be as appropriate or more intellectual games will be better as an activity. The "Needs analysis" sheet is a good plan to get the general idea of what adult learners are expecting from the class and how to create activities that are appropriate for them.
