This unit addresses the conditional form of speech. This can be a very tricky part of speech for students as there are various ways it can manifest.
There are five different forms of the conditional, each one of them with its corresponding consequence. We can help students work through these by creating many hypothetical situations for them to work within and form stories (i.e. "if there were a nuclear attack, ....... would happen."
Reported speech is also very tricky for students. One must be particularly careful of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and make sure that these are appropriately changed when transferred to reported speech.
