It was great to see the various kinds of engaging exercises a teacher can use in his arsenal to create a vibrant and fun atmosphere for all students. Is was also helpful to see the pros and cons of using a course book and the dangers of becoming too heavily dependent upon them. I feel that as a new teacher I will want to use them to some extent, but I must also allow myself to be creative, malleable, and adaptable in order to have the best possible experience for each of my students.
