In this unit I had a short review of the usages and forms of the present tenses. What I have learnt in this unit instead are the common/ typical errors of the students, how should I correct them and explain why the mistake has been made, e.g (present simple tense) “She like read a Book.” It should be “She likes to read a book.”( Subject+base form+s) . One of the active stage teaching suitable to correct this type of error is the ‘Questionnaires’ whereby students ask each other questions about their likes and dislikes.
