As a person with no experience teaching, this unit was really appreciated as it takes everything I've learned so far in previous units, and shows how I actually go about structuring a lesson and teaching the language point to the students. I know when I first start teaching I will be filling out full lesson plans like the example in this unit, because I want to keep a record of what I have done and be able to reflect back on what worked and didn't work, and whether or not the learner objectives were met. It will also help me keep organized throughout the lesson, and I will be prepared with materials and know what's coming next, and keep track of how I'm doing on timing. Of course, it's important to be flexible as well.
