Unit 17 practically explain mostly used teaching equipment and aids. The various teaching equipment and aids are used to make lessons more interactive, effective and less dependent on textbooks. It explained that the most popular teaching resources found today are found online, photocopiers, computers, Course and Resource books, Dictionaries, Videos and DVDs, CD Players, Video cameras,Cassette recorders, worksheet and work cards, Visual aids, Overhead Projectors, Interactive Whiteboards and White/black boards. Basic principles for the use of each of these resources were explained together with some possible advantages and disadvantages.
